    The importance of Cambridge trees

     

    The Tree Canopy Project, led by GreenCambridge, the Tree Task Force, and the Cambridge Trees Advisory Committee, is using state-of-the-art technology to track the health and relative density of our city's street trees. Innovative software developed by MIT and other critical technology partners is helping us understand how the city can tackle our carbon footprint by planting - and protecting - these natural greenhouse warriors.
